Mindful practice makes us aware of life – as it is – in this moment. Not the life we are thinking about, but as it really is, in this moment. Not the life in the moment that is already gone or the one that hasn’t arrived yet. But life in this present moment. By becoming aware of this space of here and now, we begin to relate to life in a healthier manner. We learn to respond to life as it is, rather than habitually react to life patterns in our minds.
